Good morning America…hmm I mean Los Angeles!! After a good night sleep and resting our legs, we were ready to start day nr two.
Olvera Street

We headed out for Olvera Street, a Mexican car-free Marketplace with a block-long narrow, tree-shaded, brick-lined market with old structures, painted stalls, street vendors, cafes, restaurants, and gift shops.
The souvenir stands offer handcrafted items such as pottery, wooden toys, belts, wallets, purses, leather and Mexican folk art. There are several historical museums to visit too.
Many of the merchants on Olvera Street today are descended from the original vendors.
They continue to create traditional events and celebrations free to the public!
We enjoyed the free entertainment, music and dance! young and old were showing off their moves, their talents. This is a place where you will see instruments like never before. Get ready to mingle and dance.
Have fun!

Getting There
I would recommend taking the train to Union Station as that is just a fun experience in general, but if you drive, there are a few small parking lots around the main square that you can often grab a spot at for around $10.
Hours of Operation; Mon-Sun 10 am - 7 pm

Walk of Fame

It was around noon when we arrived to Hollywood Walk of Fame, it was a real hot summer day and the claustrophobia-inducing crowd were loud and alive, there was an epic atmosphere with happy tourists taking selfies, family shoot or posing with their beloved celebrities’ stars.
There is a never-ending line of gift shops, tattoo parlors, street performance, coffee shops, eatery and people!!
Keep an eye on your kids as you could easily get lost in the crowd.
Give yourself a min of 2 hour to walk around and discover this place (without visiting any museums).

If you have extra time you can spend them at:
· The Hollywood Museum
· Hollywood Wax Museum
· The Egyptian Theater
· Madam Tussaud's
· Dolby Theater
· Ripley’s believe it or not
· Guinness World Record Museum
Getting close to celebrities is difficult; getting close to their names isn't.
How to Get there The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a stretch of public sidewalk extending along Hollywood Boulevard between La Brea Avenue and Gower Street and along Vine Street between Yucca Street and Sunset Boulevard.
Drive, walk, or take the Metro Red Line to Highland or Vine.
